Job summary

A leading infrastructure firm in Sharjah is seeking a Civil Engineer with over 12 years of experience to lead the supervision of roads and wet utilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of infrastructure works and must possess strong communication and leadership skills. UAE experience is mandatory, with a preference for experience in Sharjah projects and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12–15 years experience in infrastructure supervision.
• UAE experience is mandatory; Sharjah projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of roads, stormwater, wastewater networks.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all site construction activities for infrastructure works.
• Ensure full compliance with design drawings and specifications.
• Review contractor method statements and material submittals.
• Issuing site instructions and maintaining contractual records.
• Chair weekly progress and technical meetings.
• Coordinate with client representatives and authorities.
• Review contractor progress reports and certify work done.
• Ensure HSE compliance and site quality control.
• Liaise with the design team on technical clarifications.

Role Purpose:

Lead the supervision of roads and wet utilities (wastewater and stormwater), ensuring compliance with contract documents, standards, and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all site construction activities for infrastructure works.
• Ensure full compliance with design drawings, specifications, and Sharjah authority standards (DPW, SMDD, SRTAA, etc.).
• Review contractor method statements, shop drawings, ITPs, and material submittals.
• Issue site instructions, NCRs, and maintain contractual records.
• Chair weekly progress and technical meetings.
• Coordinate with client representatives and authorities.
• Review contractor progress reports and certify work done.
• Ensure HSE compliance and site quality control.
• Liaise with the design team on technical clarifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 12–15 years experience in infrastructure supervision.
