Job summary

EMCD, a leading crypto technology company, seeks a visionary CBDO to lead global business development. You will drive expansion into new markets, oversee partnerships, and align BD with product and engineering strategies.

The role requires deep crypto/fintech expertise, a global network, and the ability to scale revenue and user growth. You will manage a global BD team, collaborate with sales and marketing, and represent EMCD at international conferences and investor meetings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development within crypto/Web3/fintech/startups.
• Proven leadership in scaling GTM strategies across international markets.
• Deep understanding of blockchain tech, mining and DeFi.
• Strong global network in crypto and VC ecosystems.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation and deal-making skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic/analytical thinking.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead EMCD's global BD and GTM strategy.
• Define and prioritize market entry strategies across geographies.
• Align BD with product roadmap and company vision.
• Identify, negotiate and close high-impact partnerships and integrations.
• Explore and execute on M&A opportunities and strategic investments.
• Drive revenue and user growth in B2B and B2C segments.
• Build and manage a high-performing global BD team.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing and engineering.
• Lead quarterly strategic reviews and adapt BD plans to market dynamics.
• Represent EMCD at crypto conferences, summits and investor meetings.
• Act as a spokesperson for the company in strategic settings.
