Regional Marine Sales Leader – Middle East

Job summary

Damen is seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to strengthen our regional sales team in the Middle East. You will drive sales growth across assigned territories, build and maintain strong customer relationships, and act as the primary contact for customers across the Damen portfolio.

You will develop sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, negotiate commercial agreements, and coordinate with engineering, legal, and finance to deliver on commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a commercial role in the Middle East.
• Experience in maritime, marine, offshore, shipbuilding or capital goods industries.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication in English; Arabic language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and business development activities within assigned territories.
• Build long-term relationships with customers, agents, government entities, port operators, contractors, and marine companies.
• Identify market opportunities and convert leads into commercial success.
• Prepare and negotiate quotations, contracts, pricing, delivery terms, and commercial agreements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including engineering, legal, finance, services, and project teams.
• Represent Damen at industry events, trade fairs, conferences and customer meetings.
