Job summary

Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding is seeking a Sales Manager for the Middle East, based in the United Arab Emirates, with frequent travel across the region. You will drive sales growth, build strategic customer relationships, negotiate commercial terms, and coordinate with multiple internal teams to deliver Damen solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales/business development or a commercial role in the Middle East.
• Experience within the maritime, marine, offshore, shipbuilding or capital goods industry.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and business development activities within assigned territories.
• Build long-term relationships with customers, agents, government entities, port operators, contractors and marine companies.
• Identify market opportunities and convert leads into commercial success.
• Prepare and negotiate quotations, contracts, pricing, delivery terms and commercial agreements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including engineering, legal, finance, services and project teams.
• Monitor market developments and provide strategic commercial insights to management.
• Represent Damen at industry events, trade fairs, conferences and customer meetings.
• Support customers throughout the sales lifecycle including after-sales activities and issue resolution.
