About the Company

Duties and Responsibilities
Quality Management & Planning
  • Implement, monitor, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in line with company standards, ISO 9001, and relevant codes.
  • Prepare, review, and enforce Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and SOPs.
  • Ensure quality requirements are clearly defined and followed at every project phase.
Inspection & Surveillance
  • Conduct site inspections and surveillance of construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Verify that work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Inspect incoming materials and equipment, checking Material Test Certificates (MTCs) and conformance with specifications.
  • Coordinate and witness inspections and tests conducted by contractors, vendors, and third‑party agencies.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain comprehensive quality records including inspection reports, test results, NCRs (Non‑Conformance Reports), corrective actions, and inspections logs.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and periodic QA/QC reports to project management.
  • Ensure all QA/QC documentation is accurate, up‑to‑date, and audit‑ready.
4. Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
  • Identify, document, and track non‑conformities, deviations, and quality issues.
  • Lead root cause analysis and follow up on corrective and preventive actions until closure.
  • Ensure that corrective actions are implemented effectively and prevent recurrence.
5. Coordination & Communication
  • Coordinate QA/QC activities with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure quality compliance.
  • Liaise with client representatives and third‑party inspectors for inspections and approvals.
  • Provide guidance and technical support on quality requirements and procedures.
6. Audits & Compliance
  • Conduct internal quality audits, verify compliance with ISO and project specs, and support external audits.
  • Support implementation of corrective action plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and project contractual requirements.
7. Support During Project Phases
  • Provide QA/QC support throughout all stages: engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, testing, and commissioning.
  • Ensure quality requirements are implemented from start to project handover.
What are we looking for?
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in QA/QC roles, especially within power, transmission, infrastructure, or electrical projects.
  • Experience working in the UAE or Gulf region is often preferred.
  • Specific experience with 132kV/220kV/400kV substation or transmission projects.
  • Ability to develop and implement QA/QC documentation (ITPs, method statements, quality plans).
  • Familiarity with quality inspections, material verification, and test processes.
  • Proficient with quality documentation tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of industry codes and standards relevant to electrical, civil, or mechanical works.
