Job summary

A leading hotel group in Dubai is seeking a Cluster Purchasing Officer to manage procurement operations for multiple properties. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience in purchasing within hospitality, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with various departments and ensure compliance with internal policies. The candidate should also have knowledge of the UAE supplier market.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a Purchasing or Procurement role, preferably within hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel purchasing systems and processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office; Marriott systems experience is advantageous.

Courtyard by Marriott Al Barsha, Dubai & Courtyard by Marriott Dubai World Trade Centre is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Cluster Purchasing Officer to support procurement operations for both of the properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage purchasing activities for both hotels in line with Marriott standards and brand policies
  • Source, negotiate and maintain relationships with approved suppliers and vendors
  • Ensure timely procurement of concerned departments
  • Monitor inventory levels, cost control and purchase order accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements
  • Coordinate closely with all of departments
  • Prepare reports related to purchasing and supplier performance
Requirements
  • With At least 1 year of previous experience in a Purchasing or Procurement role within hospitality (cluster experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of hotel purchasing systems and processes
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, experience with Marriott systems is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently across multiple properties
  • Knowledge of the UAE supplier market is highly desirable
