About the job Public Relation Officer (PRO)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage government-related processes, maintain regulatory compliance, and support internal and external communication needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of UAE labor laws, visa procedures, and regulatory frameworks, preferably with experience in the signage and outdoor media industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Government Relations & Legal Compliance:

  • Handle visa applications, renewals, cancellations, and other government-related processes (MOHRE, Immigration, Municipality, etc.)
  • Ensure the company's compliance with UAE labor, immigration, and municipal regulations
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government rules and regulatory changes

Licensing & Documentation:

  • Oversee trade license renewals, tenancy contracts, and other company legal documentation
  • Manage timely submission of company records to various authorities
  • Liaise with free zones, municipalities, and ministries as needed

Communication & Representation:

  • Represent the company in all legal, labor, and government departments
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with relevant government officials and departments
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding compliance and legal documentation

Support & Coordination:

  • Assist in employee onboarding processes including visa and labor card processing
  • Handle employee documentation including Emirates ID, medical fitness, and insurance
  • Prepare letters and documents for embassies, consulates, and other authorities

Key Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field
  • 5 -10 years of experience as a PRO in the UAE, preferably within the signage, construction, or advertising sector

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor, immigration, and municipality laws and procedures
  • Proficiency in documentation, visa processing, and government portals (eChannels, Tasheel, etc.)

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential matters professionally
