Job summary

AECOM in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Specialist to drive pursuit of new business opportunities. You will manage the complete proposal lifecycle from inquiry to submission, working across business development, operations, and technical teams to craft compliant, compelling proposals that showcase our capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture.
At least 4 years of proposal support or bid management experience in a professional services firm.
Demonstrated expertise in proposal and presentation writing, editing, and production.
Strong knowledge of marketing best practices, RFQ/RFP response processes, and proposal management workflows.

Responsibilities

Lead and support proposal responses to client RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs with standardized pursuit processes for schedule efficiency and compliance.
Coordinate proposal content, information architecture, templates, compliance requirements, and timelines; provide leadership for document design.
Serve as lead writer and editor for executive summaries, qualifications, resumes, and past performance narratives.
Facilitate proposal review sessions, incorporate feedback, and apply lessons learned to improve quality.
Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to inform proposal strategy and planning.
Participate in go/no-go and greenlight analyses per authority guidelines and capture planning.
Collaborate with business lines, operations, and BD teams to develop marketing materials and case studies.
Manage revisions and ensure alignment with brand guidelines and corporate identity.
Provide mentorship to junior proposal team members and uphold thorough quality checks before submission.
