Qualifications

Job Title: Principal Risk & Safety Engineer

Entity: Bureau Veritas-MER

Location: Abu Dhabi -MER

Experience: 15 years

Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience and competency with the following:

  • Approved (ADNOC, Qatar Energy, ARAMCO, etc.) risk & safety related workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, ALARP, BT, CR, SIMOPS, MOPO, etc.) facilitator
  • Capable of leading a team of assigned Risk & Safety engineers checking the technical integrity of deliverables delivering reports within allocated schedule and budget
  • Knowledge of International and local standards and Company standards including ADNOC, ARAMCO, Qatar Energy, NOC, Shell, etc.
  • Fire explosion gas dispersion Consequence Analysis
  • Fire & Explosion Risk Analysis (FERA)
  • Building Risk Assessment (BRA)
  • Fire Risk Analysis (FRA)
  • Flare/Vent Dispersion and Radiation studies.
  • Escape Evacuation and Rescue Analysis
  • Emergency System Survivability Analysis
  • Temporary Refuge Impairment Analysis
  • Ship Collision Study
  • QRA study including event tree and fault tree analysis boat collision risk helicopter crash risk and ALARP demonstration/ cost benefit analysis.
  • Dropped Object studies
  • Emergency Response Plan (ERP)/ Pre-Incident Plan (PIP)
  • Development of Bow Ties HSECES list Performance Standards Safety Critical Tasks
  • Preparation COMAH/HSE Case Report
