Job summary

Job description

To drive financial performance and cash-flow optimization across the divisions project portfolio by acting as the key financial liaison between Project Managers and Management. This role ensures the integrity of project financial data timely revenue recognition proactive cost control and collaboration with internal and client stakeholders. It also supports continuous improvement through ERP mastery and actionable dashboard reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Financial Management & Support

    Monitor project financials across all contracts focusing on revenue recognition cost allocation margin control and Work-In-Progress (WIP) tracking.

    Provide clear analysis of actual vs. budgeted/forecasted financials aligned with IFRS 15 and internal standards.

    Conduct profitability assessments feasibility studies and financial modeling to support strategic decisions at the division level.

    Act as a trusted business partner to Project Managers and technical teams ensuring financial visibility and operational alignment.

  2. Work Order & Cash-Flow Optimization

    Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors to support the preparation validation and submission of Payment Applications (PA) and Payment Certificates (PC).

    Ensure regular follow-up with the client (e.g. RTA - CNP Department) to accelerate JMS approvals and payment cycles.

    Support the reduction of unbilled revenue and ensure justified monthly WIP figures to improve division cash-flow.

  4. ERP Utilization & Data Intelligence

    Leverage ERP systems (e.g. SAP XPEDEON or equivalent) to extract and structure financial data for reporting and performance analysis.

    Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize project KPIs cash positions and operational progress for senior management.

    Train and support Project Managers in financial processes and tool usage to ensure data integrity and operational autonomy.

  5. Coordination & Delegated Closing Authority

    Act as a central point of contact between QS teams Project Managers and Finance for monthly closing activities.

    Under the guidance of the Division Director lead or support the monthly closing process on their behalf when required ensuring consistency completeness and timely reporting.

    Liaise with the Finance team to consolidate inputs and prepare divisional financial closure files.

  6. Cross-Divisional Process Improvement

    Proactively identify inefficiencies or gaps in financial processes and propose enhancements that can be implemented across the Infrastructure Maintenance Division.

    Collaborate with other divisions to share improvements harmonize practices and contribute to company-wide performance optimization.

Qualifications :
  • Advanced degree in Finance Business Administration or related field.
  • Broad and progressive experience in project financial control in infrastructure or technical environments.
  • Proficiency in Power BI Excel (VBA Pivot Lookup) and ERP systems such as SAP or others.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS) budgeting forecasting and investment planning.
  • Excellent communication in English French and Arabic are an advantage.
  • Autonomous solution-oriented and comfortable managing across functions.
