Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on port cranes, including lubrication, oil changes, and rope, sheath, and gear work.
  • Conduct daily lubrication for assigned cranes.
  • Perform full oil changes on cranes, including managing large volumes of gear oil (380‑400 L) and hydraulic oil (16 L).
  • Execute stopper refurbishment and quality checks on spare parts, such as bolts and nuts.
  • Collaborate with team members on complex tasks, such as rope section greasing, which requires a team of eight.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols, including ensuring vehicle and safety lights remain operational during work.
  • Understand and navigate on‑site logistical challenges, including obtaining necessary work approvals and adapting to high‑temperature conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance performed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in maintenance, preferably with heavy machinery or cranes.
  • Knowledge of lubrication, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring significant physical effort and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work in challenging environmental conditions, including high temperatures.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Valid driver's license and awareness of on‑site vehicle safety protocols.
