Job description

We are seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Pediatric Neurologist or Neurodevelopmental Specialist to join one of our healthcare facilities in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will be experienced in diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological and developmental disorders in children, and must hold a valid DOH license.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients with neurological conditions including epilepsy, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorders, neuromuscular disorders, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Perform and interpret neurological exams, EEGs, and neuroimaging studies.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans, including medication management, therapy referrals, and follow-up schedules.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pediatricians, therapists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide family education, counseling, and support on diagnosis, treatment plans, and long-term care management.
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date medical records in compliance with DOH standards and facility policies.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, case discussions, and quality assurance activities.
Requirements
  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Completion of residency in Pediatrics and fellowship in Pediatric Neurology or Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
  • Valid and active DOH license (Health Authority Abu Dhabi).
  • Minimum of 3+ years post-specialty experience in a clinical pediatric neurology or developmental setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
