Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe working environment by identifying safety opportunities, unsafe conditions, and process risks across the assigned work area.
- Supervise, guide, and train associates to help deliver reliable service and strong operational performance for customers.
- Ensure customer orders are fulfilled according to quality standards, safety guidelines, and operational process requirements.
- Provide timely shift‑related updates to frontline management, operators, and support teams.
- Adjust labor allocation during shifts to meet volume plans, daily forecasts, productivity targets, and changing operational priorities.
- Monitor process flow across fulfillment, sortation, or delivery station activities and support smooth execution throughout the shift.
- Engage with support functions and other departments to resolve common operational issues affecting performance, readiness, safety, 5S, or training.
- Help identify gaps in process area readiness and work with relevant teams to prepare workstations, equipment, associates, and materials.
- Support 5S standards by encouraging organized, clean, safe, and efficient working areas.
- Track performance patterns and use data analysis to identify logistics, supply chain, and process optimization opportunities.
- Participate in daily problem‑solving activities to remove bottlenecks, reduce delays, and improve order movement.
- Communicate clearly with associates to reinforce safety expectations, quality standards, productivity goals, and customer impact.
- Escalate operational risks, staffing gaps, quality issues, or safety concerns to management when immediate support is required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve productivity, workflow reliability, customer delivery performance, and associate engagement.
- Contribute to a positive team culture by encouraging ownership, urgency, teamwork, and high service standards.
Ideal Profile
- Experience in operations, logistics, fulfillment, warehouse, sortation, delivery station, retail operations, or supply chain support.
- Previous exposure to shift coordination, associate supervision, frontline training, or operational performance monitoring is an advantage.
- Strong awareness of workplace safety, quality standards, 5S practices, and process compliance.
- Ability to work in a busy and dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly.
- Practical problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify issues and support fast improvement actions.
- Comfortable using operational data, reports, and performance indicators to support decisions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear updates to associates, operators, support teams, and management.
