Job summary

EY is seeking an On-site Technology Support Specialist (Associate) in Dubai to enable our people to work efficiently and securely. You will deliver fit-for-purpose support across hardware, software, and end-user technology in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

This role involves assisting with onboarding, device provisioning, incident resolution, asset management, and coordination for office moves and events, with after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfortable working with a range of hardware and software technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support deployment, installation, configuration, and testing of hardware and software.
• Support provisioning and deprovisioning, onboarding new hires, and collecting hardware from separating employees.
• Assist with or coordinate repairs of end-user hardware and reinstall software to resolve incidents.
• Resolve incidents related to firm-standard hardware, software, and mobile technologies, identifying trends to prevent future issues.
• Provide after-hours support for escalated issues under minimal supervision.
• Perform asset management activities including procurement, inventory, tracking, and distribution in EY policy alignment.
• Support off-site technology needs for firm-sponsored meetings, events, office moves, and relocations.
• Act as “remote hands” for other EY Technology teams such as Telecommunications and Hosting.
• Maintain a strong understanding of EY Technology services to proactively address end-user needs.
• Anticipate and resolve technology issues that may impact productivity across the firm.
