Job summary

Egis Group in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join the team. You will provide technical support to end-users, ensuring smooth IT operations and maintaining system reliability.

The role involves diagnosing issues, documenting resolutions, and delivering exceptional support to internal stakeholders. The position covers L1/L2 support for hardware, software, network, and Microsoft 365, with on-site and remote duties as needed.

Qualifications

2 years of hands-on IT support or help desk experience.
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
Proficiency with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and TCP/IP protocols.
Experience with hardware troubleshooting and software installation.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to document technical issues and resolutions accurately.
Customer service orientation with patience and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Provide L1/L2 IT support for hardware, software, network, email, printer, Microsoft 365 and end-user application issues via remote and on-site assistance.
Manage IT asset lifecycle including procurement coordination, inventory management, asset allocation, tracking, maintenance, transfers and disposal.
Administer user accounts including onboarding/offboarding, account provisioning, access management and IT equipment issuance/recovery.
Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals and business applications per Company IT standards.
Manage telecommunications services including employee SIM card provisioning, activation, deactivation and vendor coordination.
Manage software licenses, subscriptions and renewals for business-critical applications.
Coordinate with internal IT teams and stakeholders to implement IT solutions and support business initiatives.
Monitor support requests, prioritize incidents by business impact and ensure timely resolution within SLA.
Support IT projects, office relocations, infrastructure upgrades and technology rollouts across the region.
Assist in implementing IT policies, security standards and compliance requirements while promoting best practices for end users.
Coordinate IT procurement activities including vendor quotations, evaluations, purchase requests and delivery of hardware, software and services.
