Job summary

As It Should Be is seeking a Generalist HR Officer to bring structure, accuracy and calm professionalism to our HR function on-site at our UAE farm in Al Ain region.

You will manage the full recruitment cycle, onboarding, probation reviews, disciplinary actions, and training delivery while ensuring payroll and records are accurate and compliant with UAE law. Strong communication and follow-up are essential for success.

• Excellent recruitment ability — screening, interviewing and selecting confidently.
• Strong knowledge of HR procedures including disciplinaries and documentation.
• Clear written communication and high attention to detail.
• Strong follow-up habits — nothing is left incomplete.
• Professional, calm and organised.

Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition (Recruitment Excellence) and managing the full recruitment cycle from advert to offer.
• Screening candidates clearly against role criteria and conducting structured interviews.
• Coordinating interviews and documenting selection decisions; onboarding.
• Handling disciplinaries, investigations and performance cases; letters and minutes.
• Managing probation reviews, training delivery and compliance records.
• Payroll amendments, attendance data, benefits administration and HR reporting.
• Maintaining HR policies, employee files and UAE labour law updates.
• Producing reports for management: headcount, recruitment status, attendance, training compliance.
