Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist in preparing prescriptions, maintaining pharmacy records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing patient care with effective communication.
- Provide patient counseling, medication management, and staff training while ensuring compliance with quality standards and effective inventory management.
- Lead retail pharmacy operations by managing product selection, sales performance, inventory control, and cross‑functional integration while ensuring excellent customer service.
- Dispense medications, verify prescriptions, provide patient counseling, manage inventory, and ensure medication safety while collaborating with healthcare professionals.
- Supervise pharmacy staff, conduct medication reviews, advise on medication selection, and monitor patient outcomes.
- Maintain medication safety, adhere to drug regulations, and secure management of narcotics and controlled substances.
- Provide continuous education and participate in professional development activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent).
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree and state licensure required for certain positions.
- Valid UAE pharmacy license (MOH, DHA, or other governing authority).
- 2–10 years of relevant pharmacy experience (various roles delivered across multiple sites).
- Strong communication, customer‑service, and team‑leadership skills.
- Knowledge of medication safety, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.
