MEA Area Sales Leader - Mission Solutions (Oil & Gas)

Job summary

NOV Rig Technologies seeks a results-driven sales professional to promote the Mission portfolio across the Middle East and Africa. You will build and manage relationships with key influencers and decision-makers, delivering superior customer service while growing the sales pipeline.

You will negotiate terms, conduct direct sales activities, and provide market insights to support business growth. Travel within the MEA region will be required to engage customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and experience in the upstream oil and gas sector.
• Preference for applicants with OEM or drilling contractor experience or drilling business knowledge in MEA region.
• Working knowledge/experience in Handling Tools.
• Knowledge of drilling consumables, pumps, valves and pipe handling is strongly preferred.
• Degree in a related engineering field or relevant industry experience.
• Working business development or sales experience within Oil and Gas Industry.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact between NOV Mission and customers, understanding their requirements and identifying value-added solutions.
• Negotiate commercial terms in accordance with NOV policies and management guidance.
• Conduct direct sales activities, prepare and deliver customer presentations, and engage internal resources as required.
• Gather and communicate customer feedback, market trends, and business opportunities to internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the Annual Financial Plan and Quarterly Sales Forecast.
• Monitor competitor activities, products, and market developments, documenting and sharing relevant information internally.
• Work closely with internal support teams, subject matter experts, and operations to deliver customer solutions.
• Monitor order status, provide customer updates, ensure accounts remain current, and support Accounts Receivable with overdue payments.
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines, quotations, and opportunity records to support timely order closure.
• Represent NOV Rig Technologies at industry associations, conferences, and customer events.
• Prepare and submit sales activity reports, forecasts, and market intelligence reports for management.
• Travel domestically and internationally within the region to support customer and business requirements.
