Job summary

Harris Pye seeks a Regional Technical Sales Manager – MEA to drive commercial growth across the Middle East & Africa in Marine, Offshore, Oil & Gas and Energy sectors. You will identify opportunities, open markets, and build long-term strategic relationships with clients and partners.

You will report to the Chief Corporate Development Officer and blend technical knowledge with strong commercial acumen to achieve regional KPIs while traveling extensively in the MEA region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marine studies, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing and directing teams across various functions.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
• 10–12 years of experience within the Marine, Offshore, Oil & Gas or Energy sectors.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Technical Sales, Business Development or Commercial Management.
• Existing commercial network across key offshore African markets such as Nigeria, Ghana and Angola is essential.
• Proven track record of delivering sustainable revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the regional commercial strategy across Middle East & Africa.
• Build and strengthen relationships with senior stakeholders, EPC contractors, shipowners, operators, strategic partners and government entities across the region.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with technical capabilities.
• Meet defined sales targets and KPIs while ensuring client satisfaction.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and client meetings.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecast through CRM tools.
• Build long-term relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Regularly travel across the region to develop new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on regional growth plans.
