Job description
We are looking for a Logistics Executive to join our fast-growing car export business in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end export process for vehicles being shipped internationally. This includes handling export, import, and cross-trade operations while ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and full compliance with international shipping and customs regulations.

Responsibilities of the position:

  • Coordinate and oversee the full cycle of export (Container / RORO / Air) and cross-trade shipments, from order placement to final delivery.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and transporters to ensure smooth and timely cargo movement.
  • Prepare and verify all shipping documentation (e.g. invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, BLs, AWBs) as per the requirements of the destination country.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and promptly address any delays or issues.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, Incoterms, and international trade laws.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as Sales, Procurement, and Finance for shipment planning and documentation.
  • Manage and update shipment records and logistics databases for accurate reporting and audit purposes.
  • Optimize shipping routes, methods, and costs where possible to improve efficiency.
  • Resolve shipping-related issues, including delays, damages, or discrepancies, with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication abilities with internal teams and external partners.
  • Capability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Qualification:
  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in export logistics, preferably in the automotive/trading industry.
