A leading airline in the UAE is looking for a Lead Propulsion Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of its engine fleet. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with mandatory requirements and provide troubleshooting assistance as needed. Candidates must have a relevant engineering degree and a minimum of 5 years in aircraft engine technical support, preferably with experience in specific Etihad aircraft types. The role includes project management and close coordination with various departments for continuous improvement.
The Lead Propulsion Engineer reports to the Manager, Engine Management and is responsible for providing engineering support to the operation and maintenance of the Etihad engine fleet, ensuring compliance with all mandatory requirements from the OEM, Airworthiness Authorities and Etihad Aircraft Maintenance Program to meet the GCAA CAR M and CAR-Ops 1 requirements.
