Job summary

A leading consulting firm in the UAE is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Automation Engineer to lead engineering activities for onshore oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience, including mandatory ADNOC project experience. Key responsibilities include designing and specifying systems, ensuring compliance with international codes, and mentoring junior engineers. The role requires immediate availability in Abu Dhabi and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in instrumentation and automation engineering in onshore oil & gas projects.
• Mandatory ADNOC project experience (minimum one FEED or Detailed Design project).
• Strong knowledge of Engineering Phase work, including FEED and Detailed Engineering.
• Proven experience in DCS, PLC, SCADA, and SIS system design and integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and specification of instrumentation and automation systems.
• Develop and approve instrumentation design deliverables.
• Ensure integration of DCS, PLC, SCADA, and safety systems with process systems.
• Prepare instrument datasheets and ensure adherence to ADNOC standards.
