Job summary

Black Pearl Consult in Dubai seeks a meticulous Document Controller to manage project records for major construction initiatives. You will handle contractor submittals, RFIs, and related documents, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and streamlined workflows.

You will maintain filing systems, oversee electronic document management in Unifier and SharePoint, and train team members on document control procedures, contributing to audit-ready documentation across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EMC/ARMA certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of document control experience on construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of document control processes and electronic systems.
• Ability to lead and train others.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Familiarity with Unifier and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain filing systems and records.
• Process contractor submittals and RFIs; review responses for contract compliance.
• Assist in technical and administrative review of construction documents.
• Develop clear file structures and implement controls for smooth workflows.
• Maintain electronic document management systems including Unifier and SharePoint.
• Support approval workflows and train team members on document control procedures.
• Ensure all project documentation adheres to policies and procedures.
• Maintain logs and records to facilitate auditing and reporting.
