Atlantis The Royal in Dubai seeks a seasoned Kitchen Equipment Technician to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, modify, and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment across the resort. You will support a large inventory of electric and gas appliances within a multidisciplinary facilities maintenance team.

The role emphasizes planned and reactive maintenance, safety, and reliability to keep F&B operations running smoothly in a luxury hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of experience in a facilities maintenance trade.
• Trade school education or higher education.
• Experience with maintaining commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
• Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams.
• Soldering and brazing skills for refrigeration maintenance and compressor installation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, modify, and repair electric and gas commercial kitchen equipment.
• Service gas piping, gas controls, and air-to-gas mixture systems.
• Diagnose faults across a wide range of kitchen and refrigeration appliances.
• Repair and maintain walk-in freezers and refrigerators.

Role Context

The Kitchen Equipment Technician will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, modify, and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment throughout Atlantis The Royal. The position supports the reliable operation of a large inventory of electric and gas-powered kitchen appliances. Working within the facilities maintenance team, the technician will handle planned and reactive maintenance while ensuring equipment remains safe, functional, and available to support the resort 's food and beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, modify, and repair electric and gas commercial kitchen equipment.
• Service gas piping, gas controls, and air-to-gas mixture systems associated with kitchen equipment.
• Diagnose faults across a wide range of kitchen and refrigeration appliances.
• Repair and maintain walk-in freezers and refrigerators.
• Service industrial steam cookers, ice machines, washers, ovens, dryers, dishwashers, and water coolers.
