Job summary

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Sharjah is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to lead cooks and kitchen staff. You will ensure accurate portions, presentation, and garnishes while monitoring food prep quantities and stock.

You will assist with staffing, training, and coaching to maintain high standards of service. The role requires 4–6 years of related experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, and a Technical/Trade/Vocational Degree is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers.
• Ensure proper portion, presentation, and garnish of food.
• Monitor quantity of food prepared and communicate specials/shortages.
• Assist cooks with tasks and provide needed items.
• Monitor kitchen stock and maintain food safety logs.
• Participate in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching staff.
• Adhere to safety, security and confidentiality policies; report hazards.
