Job summary

You will assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, coaching, and performance management while maintaining professional conduct and strong guest service.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of related work experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers.
• Determine how food should be presented and create decorative displays.
• Monitor quantity of food prepared and ensure quality.
• Inform service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items; prepare substitutes.
• Assist cooks and kitchen staff with tasks and provide needed items.
• Monitor stock of kitchen supplies and maintain food safety logs.
• Follow safety policies and maintain professional appearance and confidentiality.
