Job summary

Marriott International's Sheraton Abu Dhabi is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to supervise cooks, coordinate food preparation, presentation, and garnish, and ensure consistency of quality. You will monitor quantities, inform staff of specials, and support substitutions as needed.

You will assist management in hiring, training and scheduling, coach staff, uphold safety policies, and maintain a professional team environment to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of related work experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers to ensure proper portioning, plating and garnish.
• Inform food & beverage staff of specials and out of stock items and assist with substitutions as needed.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and motivating staff; ensure safety and cleanliness policies are followed.
