Job summary

Nair Systems in the UAE is seeking an IT Operations Officer to support banking and IT infrastructure across our operations. The role covers data center, network, Windows server environments, Active Directory, and end-user support with after-hours availability.

Candidates should have a relevant degree and 3–5 years in IT operations or infrastructure, plus knowledge of FCUBS, T24, Way4, DCMS, UAECB, and strong incident management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 3–5 years in IT Operations, Banking Operations or Infrastructure Support.
• Knowledge of FCUBS, T24, Way4, DCMS and UAECB applications.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Networking, VPN, MPLS and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours and on-call support to ensure timely resolution of critical IT and banking issues.
• Respond to production incidents, outages, and urgent service requests.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors during critical incidents to minimize disruption.
• Support end users with desktop, laptop, printer and peripheral issues (L1–L2).
• Maintain network documentation, procedures, and asset inventory.

• Knowledge of banking systems such as FCUBS T24 Way4 DCMS and UAECB Applications.
• Experience with Windows Server Active Directory Networking VPN MPLS and Microsoft 365.
• Strong troubleshooting incident management and vendor coordination skills.

Operational Support Coverage

• Provide after-hours and on-call support for end users and customers to ensure timely resolution of critical IT and banking operation issues outside normal business hours.
• Respond to and troubleshoot production incidents system outages application failures and urgent service requests.
• Coordinate with internal teams vendors and service providers during critical incidents to minimize service disruption and ensure business continuity.

End User Support

• Perform routine server health checks system monitoring and patch management activities.
• Support Active Directory Microsoft 365 Azure Intune and Windows environments.
• Manage user accounts access requests and application support activities.
• Provide Level 1 & 2 support for end users desktops laptops printers and peripherals.
• Coordinate with vendors and support teams to resolve infrastructure and application-related issues.

Infrastructure & Network Support

• Support and maintain Main Data Center (DC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) site infrastructure.
• Install configure upgrade and troubleshoot routers switches and network devices.
• Monitor and maintain MPLS WAN VPN and branch network connectivity.
• Coordinate with telecom providers and service providers for circuit provisioning upgrades and incident resolution.
• Maintain network documentation operational procedures and technical records.
• Support branch IT infrastructure across Abu Dhabi Dubai Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah locations.
• Maintain and manage IT asset inventory including tracking deployment replacement and disposal of IT equipment.
• Perform network cable patching structured cabling activities and connectivity troubleshooting within Data Centers communication rooms and branch locations.
• Install configure and support Cisco IP telephony devices including user provisioning extensions and basic Call Manager administration.
• Support Cisco Voice and Unified Communications infrastructure and coordinate with vendors for telephony-related incidents and upgrades
