Job summary

VAM Systems in the UAE is seeking an IT Support - Core Banking for our Dubai operations. The role focuses on IT operations and end-user support within banking environments, covering on-call incidents and routine maintenance.

Key requirements include a bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science, 3–5 years in IT Operations or Banking Infrastructure, and hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, VPN, MPLS, and Microsoft 365. Dubai-based role with after-hours coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT Operations.
• Experience in Banking Operations or Infrastructure Support.
• Knowledge of banking systems such as FCUBS, T24, Way4, DCMS and UAECB Applications.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Networking, VPN, MPLS, and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours and on-call support for end users and customers to ensure timely resolution of production incidents, system outages, and urgent service requests.
• Support Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure Intune and Windows environments.
• Manage user accounts, access requests and application support activities.
• Provide Level 1–2 support for end users' desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Coordinate with vendors and support teams to resolve infrastructure and application-related issues.
• Install, configure, upgrade and troubleshoot routers, switches and network devices.
• Monitor MPLS WAN VPN and branch network connectivity and maintain network documentation.

Operational Support Coverage

• Provide after-hours and on-call support for end users and customers to ensure timely resolution of critical IT and banking operation issues outside normal business hours Respond to and troubleshoot production incidents system outages application failures and urgent service requests Coordinate with internal teams vendors and service providers during critical incidents to minimize service disruption and ensure business continuity

End User Support

• Perform routine server health checks system monitoring and patch management activities
• Support Active Directory Microsoft 365 Azure Intune and Windows environments
• Manage user accounts access requests and application support activities
• Provide Level 1 amp 2 support for end users desktops laptops printers and peripherals
• Coordinate with vendors and support teams to resolve infrastructure and application-related issues

Infrastructure & Network Support

• Support and maintain Main Data Center DC and Disaster Recovery DR site infrastructure
• Install configure upgrade and troubleshoot routers switches and network devices
• Monitor and maintain MPLS WAN VPN and branch network connectivity
• Coordinate with telecom providers and service providers for circuit provisioning upgrades and incident resolution
• Maintain network documentation operational procedures and technical records
• Support branch IT infrastructure across Abu Dhabi Dubai Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah locations
• Maintain and manage IT asset inventory including tracking deployment replacement and disposal of IT equipment
• Perform network cable patching structured cabling activities and connectivity troubleshooting within Data Centers communication rooms and branch locations
• Install configure and support Cisco IP telephony devices including user provisioning extensions and basic Call Manager administration
• Support Cisco Voice and Unified Communications infrastructure and coordinate with vendors for telephony-related incidents and upgrades
