We're looking for a motivated, customer-focused, and technically capable IT Support Officer to join our IT support team
In this role, you'll provide first- and second-line technical support to employees, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage user accounts, and help ensure reliable day-to-day IT operations. This is a great opportunity to develop hands-on experience across IT support, systems, networks, and technical operations
- Provide first- and second-line technical support to users via phone, email, ticketing systems, or in person
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment
- Create, update, and manage IT support tickets and service requests
- Assist with user account creation, password resets, permissions, and access management
- Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, email, collaboration tools, and common business applications
- Assist with network troubleshooting, Wi‑Fi connectivity, VPNs, and basic infrastructure support
- Perform software installations, system updates, patches, and routine maintenance
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when required
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and equipment records
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective
- Document technical issues, solutions, procedures, and knowledge‑base articles
- Support backup, security, antivirus, and endpoint‑management activities
- Monitor recurring issues and recommend improvements to IT services
- Provide professional and timely technical support while maintaining a positive user experience
What We're Looking For

Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field (preferred)
- Previous experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or technical service is a plus
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, remote‑support tools, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and endpoint‑management platforms is advantageous
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or ITIL are an advantage
- Knowledge of common UAE workplace IT environments is a plus
