Talents of Endearment in Dubai seeks an IT Support Specialist to diagnose issues, support Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and basic networking, and maintain IT systems to keep daily operations running smoothly. You'll manage Active Directory tasks, set up user accounts, and assist with security best practices, ensuring uptime in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Experience: 0-2 years in IT support roles; proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS).
• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), CompTIA A+, or Cisco CCNA is preferred.
• Fluent in English; strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical Troubleshooting & Support for applications and software.
• Manage Active Directory tasks: user accounts, permissions, password resets, group policies.
• Network & Infrastructure Maintenance: routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs.
• Oversee server administration, backups, and database management.
• System Installation & Configuration: OS, apps, patches.

• Maintain asset inventories and incident logs.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Troubleshooting & Support
• Diagnose and resolve issues with applications and software.
• Manage Active Directory tasks: user account setup, permissions, password resets, and group policies.
• Network & Infrastructure Maintenance
• Monitor and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Oversee server administration (physical/virtual), backups, and database management 710.
• System Installation & Configuration
• Deploy and update OS, applications, and security patches.
• Set up audiovisual systems, conference rooms, and specialized equipment (e.g., manufacturing plant IT).
• User Training & Documentation
• Train staff on IT best practices, new tools, and cybersecurity protocols.
• Maintain asset inventories, incident logs, and solution databases.
• Compliance & Security
• Implement ITIL standards for service management.
• Ensure adherence to UAE data protection regulations and company policies.

Requirements

Essential

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Experience: 0-2 years in IT support roles; proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS).
• Technical Certifications: Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), CompTIA A+, or Cisco CCNA.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional customer service, problem-solving agility, and fluency in English.

• Arabic language proficiency.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NESA, ISO 27001).
