About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Intern to join Jumeirah Burj Al Arab Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include

  • Provide a welcoming and professional HR support presence by greeting colleagues, handling queries and calls, and maintaining confidential information with discretion.
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding processes and guide new hires through the induction program.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and systems by updating HRMS (Oracle), filing documentation, and communicating new joiner information to relevant departments.
  • Support HR operations and administration tasks and assist with colleague engagement events.
  • Drive process improvement and collaboration by contributing ideas, coordinating across departments, and ensuring compliance with company policies, health, safety, and security regulations.
  • Professional development and contribution by taking ownership of personal learning, assisting in special HR projects, and delivering high-quality service to all internal and external stakeholders.
About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a university or a recent graduate of a relevant university degree.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Demonstrated intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Previous use of learning management software systems is an advantage.
