Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Document Controller to join its infrastructure project team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. You will manage engineering and construction documentation, maintain accurate project records, and ensure effective registration, tracking, distribution, and control of technical information throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Document Control, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience as a Document Controller on infrastructure or construction projects.
• Familiarity with document control procedures and engineering project records.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering and construction documentation including drawings, specs, RFIs, method statements, submittals, and transmittals.
• Register and track documents using the project document management system.
• Maintain accurate document registers and filing systems; ensure latest approved documents are available.
• Control document revisions and verify availability of latest drawings and specs.
• Distribute documents to authorized stakeholders and monitor transmission records.
• Coordinate with contractors, clients, engineers, and project teams on submissions and approvals.
