Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Document Control Supervisor to oversee document management activities for construction projects in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The role will develop, implement, and maintain document control systems across major projects, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of records. A bachelor's degree and proven leadership for supervising on-site document controllers are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong understanding of construction project documentation and document management procedures.
• Knowledge of document control systems and information management practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain document control systems for construction projects.
• Oversee the management of engineering drawings, construction plans, contracts, technical reports, and related project documentation.
• Establish organized procedures for receiving, recording, storing, retrieving, and distributing project documents.
• Ensure project records are maintained accurately and remain accessible to authorized personnel.
• Monitor document control activities to support efficient information management throughout project delivery.
• Maintain consistency in document handling procedures across assigned construction projects.
• Review existing document control practices and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
