Job summary

nx is seeking an experienced ICT Presales Engineer to support the design and proposal of ICT technology solutions in the UAE. You will understand client requirements, develop technical solutions and prepare proposals and BOQs, while coordinating with sales, project and technical teams.

You will conduct site surveys, develop architecture designs, and present solutions through demonstrations and POCs. Collaboration with vendors and distributors is essential to ensure compliant, technically

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Networking, Engineering or related field.
3–6 years of experience in ICT/IT Presales or Solutions Engineering.
Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, data centers and cloud solutions.
Hands-on experience preparing BOQ/BOM, RFP/RFQ responses, technical proposals and solution designs.
Good understanding of network architecture, routing, switching, firewalls and enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Understand client requirements and recommend suitable ICT solutions.
Design and develop solutions covering networking, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, data centers, cloud and enterprise technologies.
Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, BOMs, RFP/RFQ responses and solution documentation.
Conduct site surveys and gather technical requirements from clients.
Prepare network and infrastructure solution designs, diagrams and architecture.
Coordinate with sales teams to develop technically and commercially viable proposals.
Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations and POCs for clients.
Coordinate with technology vendors for product selection, specifications and pricing.
Support tender submissions and ensure compliance with technical requirements.
Work with project teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible.
