Job summary

nx is seeking an experienced ICT Presales Engineer to support the design and proposal of ICT technology solutions in the UAE. You will understand client requirements, develop technical solutions and prepare proposals and BOQs, while coordinating with sales, project and technical teams.

You will conduct site surveys, develop architecture designs, and present solutions through demonstrations and POCs. Collaboration with vendors and distributors is essential to ensure compliant, technically

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Networking, Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in ICT/IT Presales or Solutions Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, data centers and cloud solutions.
• Hands-on experience preparing BOQ/BOM, RFP/RFQ responses, technical proposals and solution designs.
• Good understanding of network architecture, routing, switching, firewalls and enterprise infrastructure.

• Stay updated on new ICT technologies, products and industry solutions.


• Participate in client meetings and provide technical clarification throughout the sales cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, Engineering or a related field.


• 3–6 years of experience in ICT/IT Presales or Solutions Engineering.


• Strong knowledge of Networking, Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, Data Centre and Cloud Solutions.


• Experience with technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, HPE, Dell, VMware, Microsoft, Azure or AWS.


• Hands-on experience preparing BOQ/BOM, RFP/RFQ responses, technical proposals and solution designs.


• Good understanding of network architecture, routing, switching, firewalls and enterprise infrastructure.


• Strong client-facing and presentation skills.


• Experience working with system integrators or technology solution providers is preferred.


• UAE experience is preferred.
