A leading international workforce business is seeking to hire a Human Resources Officer based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Job description

We are currently looking for a Human Resourced Officer (Onshore) based in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Position Title: Human Resources Officer

Start date: A.S.A.P

Duration: One (1) year with possible extension(s).

Work Location: Onshore (Abu Dhabi Main Offices).

Key Responsibilities
  • Training: Source, organize, confirm, and record training activities (Lizzy and external trainings). Complete and file feedback forms for records. Extract Lizzy reports for compliance reporting (Legal) and update monthly HR dashboard. Update cost follow‑up table and dashboard input. Manage technical issues in Lizzy. Maintain training certificate records. Track average training hours for sustainable reporting. Implement Individual Training Plans (ITP) campaign in coordination with TD. Consolidate training needs and implement validated ITPs for all employees. Ensure external staff registration on Lizzy and manage compliance training registrations. Track implementation and statistics of specific training programs by HQ (Visa for TE, Visa for Electricity, anti‑corruption training, HSE matrix if continued).
  • HRIS: Key user for most HRIS functions (job posting, Lizzy, etc.). Check accuracy and quality of data in HR4U. Act as HR innovation correspondent.
  • Recruitment & Mobility: Coordinate recruitments and internal mobilities through CV screenings, pre‑qualification calls, and candidate sourcing as per requirements.
  • Onboarding: Manage onboarding for all local hires and interns (collection of documents, security clearance, etc.). Prepare induction plans for newcomers. Conduct HR induction for newcomers.
  • Campaigns: Coordinate HR campaigns in liaison with the headquarters. Follow‑up with employees to address any technical issues and ensure a 100 percent completion rate.
  • Job Descriptions: Maintain the job descriptions library and related reporting. Ensure all newcomers provide their JDs.
  • Interns: Follow‑up and coordinate international trainees’ movement with department and HQ, from request form to selection. Coordinate with department and intern, provide administrative support during assignments. Participate in career fairs and maintain relations with schools and universities in coordination with CSR team.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field required; HR certification a plus.
  • Experience: HR experience needed, especially in talent development, onboarding, training, or HRIS; multinational/matrix background preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Skilled in HRIS (Avature, Lizzy, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday) and Microsoft Office; knowledge of compliance reporting and data management.
  • Core Competencies: Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, confidentiality, analysis, adaptability.
  • Languages: Fluent English.
  • Other Requirements: Understanding of local labour laws/HR practices; open to occasional travel and events.
