Job summary

Hilton is seeking a Telephone Operator to join our Hotels team. You will process all incoming and outgoing calls with accuracy and courtesy, support guest needs, and promote hotel services.

Responsibilities include wake-up calls, paging, and assisting with meeting room bookings, while maintaining privacy and professional service. Ideal candidates have hotel or customer service experience, excellent communication, and proficiency with Office tools and hotel systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel, customer service, call centre, or front‑office role.
• Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel property management or telephone systems.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming and outgoing calls accurately, courteously, and efficiently, including wake‑up calls, guest paging, staff paging, international calls, and directory assistance.
• Respond promptly to guest enquiries and requests, maintain guest privacy, resolve complaints professionally, and promote hotel services and facilities to enhance the guest experience.
• Provide accurate information on hotel facilities, local services and assist with meeting room reservations and business centre services.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure hotel information and directories remain current.
• Comply with Hilton policies, health and safety standards, fire and emergency procedures, and maintain awareness of hotel safety systems.
