In this role you will process reservations, manage cash handling, and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth service. Arabic language skills and experience with Opera PMS are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hotel front office experience as Receptionist.
• Proficiency with Opera PMS is required.
• Arabic language skills (speaking, reading and writing) are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, visitors, suppliers, answer telephone calls providing a warm, timely welcome in line with brand standards.
• Answer guest related queries and provide information for promotions, room prices, activities and events in the surrounding area.
• Process reservations and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
• Identify corporate leads and build long-term relationships.
• Drive online name mentions and promote customer feedback.
• Understand online guest feedback and explore options for improvement.
• Carry out general office duties, including correspondence, emails and filing to ensure smooth running of the reception area
• Maintain appropriate stock of supplies and reception stationeries.
• Communicate with all departments on guests’ requests and complaints for smooth service delivery.
• Ensure safety of all guests in line with safety procedures and guidelines.
