Job summary

WhiteCrow assists a prominent UAE-based hospitality client in Dubai in finding a polished hostess for a luxury venue. You will greet guests warmly, seat them, present menus, and introduce servers to ensure smooth service.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience in high-end UAE hospitality, with a High School Diploma or equivalent; a hospitality degree is advantageous. Expect five-star grooming and proactive guest service, plus upselling and collaboration with the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of hostess/guest relations experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel or high-end restaurant in the UAE.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree/diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally, using the guest’s name when possible.
• Guide guests to tables, present menus, and introduce the dedicated server.
• Bidd farewell and actively gather feedback on the guest experience.
• Operate the restaurant’s reservation system (OpenTable, SevenRooms) and manage bookings.
• Answer calls, handle phone and online bookings, and manage the waitlist during peak hours.
• Coordinate with floor supervisors and servers to optimize seating capacity.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, beverages, and daily or seasonal promotions.
• Adhere to five-star luxury grooming and presentation standards.

As a Hostess, you will be responsible for...

Guest Relations & Welcome

• First Impression: Greeting guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and using the guest’s name whenever possible.
• Seating Management: Guiding guests to their assigned tables, presenting menus, and introducing the dedicated server.
• Farewell: Bidding farewell to departing guests and actively gathering immediate feedback regarding their experience.

Reservation & Stand Operations

• System Management: Efficiently operating the restaurant’s digital reservation system (e.g., OpenTable, SevenRooms).
• Inquiry Handling: Answering calls, processing phone and online bookings, and managing the waitlist during peak operating hours.
• Table Turnover: Coordinating closely with floor supervisors and servers to monitor open tables and optimize seating capacity.

Brand Standards & Up-Selling

• Menu Knowledge: Maintaining thorough knowledge of the food menu, current beverages, and daily or seasonal promotions.
• Grooming: Strictly adhering to the five-star luxury presentation and grooming standards outlined.

What you already have...

• Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as a hostess or guest relations agent within a 4- or 5-star hotel, or a high-end specialty restaurant in the UAE.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree/diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management is highly advantageous.
