Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Hostess for our client in Abu Dhabi for a restaurant & lounge.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

Main Duties
  1. Maintain and make daily entries in our reservation system to coordinate shifts and communicate accordingly with management.
  2. Manage and handle reservations and all related requests.
  3. Be thorough about the knowledge of the operations, services offered, operating hours, and all the food and beverage.
  4. Be the pro of the seating strategy and in charge of the operational flow at the restaurant. You decide which guest is going to be assigned to which table based on your professional judgment.
  5. Greet and assist guests in a positive, welcoming, and professional manner.
  6. Anticipate the guests' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
  7. Always be aware of guest preferences and assist in compiling guest history to offer a unique and personalized service at all times.
  8. Maintain a proactive approach to solve any guest questions or challenges.
  9. Receive, record, and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant.
  10. Accurately handle paperwork, stock, and tidy the host stand.
  11. Do daily reports on guest satisfaction tracked by the end of the day.

About You

  1. 2 years of experience in a similar role. Previous customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
  2. A positive attitude and a welcoming smile.
  3. Charming and outgoing personality with excellent manners, communication, and organizational skills.
  4. Ability to multitask and time manage in a very fast-paced environment, focusing attention on any kind of guest need while always remaining calm and kind.
  5. Computer skills with a strong knowledge of MS Office and reservation systems like 7 Rooms.
  6. Available immediately to join.
