Job summary

Hyatt Place Dubai/Jumeirah is seeking a dynamic HR & Learning Officer to join our Human Resources team. This role supports HR operations and drives learning initiatives across the cluster, with a focus on colleague development in hospitality.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for people development, strong interpersonal skills, and familiarity with HR systems and LMS. Fresh graduates are welcome; internships or hospitality experience is a plus, and knowledge of UAE labor laws is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome; internship or work experience in HR, Learning & Development, or hospitality is a plus.
• Exposure to F&B or Rooms operations helps understand needs and learning requirements.
• Passion for people development, learning, and engaging colleague experiences.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; HR systems and LMS knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Hyatt brand standards and UAE labor laws is desirable; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
• Coordinate and facilitate training programs aligned with Hyatt standards and property needs.
• Assist in implementing talent development strategies and succession planning.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with UAE labor laws.
• Partner with department heads to identify learning needs and create tailored solutions.
• Support management of learning platforms, training records, and reporting requirements.
• Champion Hyatt's culture, values, and colleague experience across all properties in the cluster.
