Job summary

Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach is seeking a senior People & Culture leader to oversee daily HR operations on-site in Dubai, working with the Cluster GM and Accor Shared Services. You will drive recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding while coordinating learning and development activities to strengthen skills and service standards.

You will partner with department heads to implement policies, manage training plans, and lead engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality People & Culture management experience.
• Strong hotel HR operations knowledge: recruitment, onboarding, ER, performance.
• UAE employment requirements and HR administration knowledge.
• Learning & Development support, training coordination and tracking.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead a multicultural team with discretion and good judgment.
• Proficiency in HR systems, MS Office and HR/reporting.
• Degree in HR or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead hotel People & Culture operations, including recruitment, onboarding, ER, performance, and offboarding.
• Be the on-site P&C contact for Heartists and department heads.
• Collaborate with Accor Shared Services to implement policies and initiatives.
• Address employee concerns with fairness, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Coordinate Learning & Development with the L&D team and annual training calendar.
• Identify training needs and facilitate orientation, induction, and relevant sessions.
• Coordinate mandatory learning and maintain accurate training records.
• Monitor training completion and follow up on outstanding requirements.
• Support talent development, succession planning, and internal mobility.
• Lead engagement, recognition, wellbeing, and inclusion activities.
• Maintain employee records, HR system data, payroll inputs, benefits and leave.
• Support manning reviews, workforce planning, budgeting, reporting, and audits.
• Coordinate visas, insurance, accommodation with relevant teams.
• Ensure alignment with employment requirements, Accor policies, and P&C standards.
