Job summary

Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab in Dubai seeks a dedicated Concierge professional to maintain a friendly, professional attitude toward guests and colleagues while handling queries and requests with care.

You will supervise luggage services, keep the Opera Telephone Book up to date, address complaints per Jumeirah standards, oversee the Concierge operations, and identify training needs to raise service levels. This is a 5-star, multicultural setting with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role at a 5-star hotel.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or relevant field from a renowned University.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling guest requests and service recovery.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Confident in handling complaints of various severity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly and professional attitude towards colleagues and guests, handling queries and requests efficiently and using guest names whenever appropriate.
• Ensure smooth and efficient operation of luggage services, supervising colleagues to prevent delays or damage to guests' belongings.
• Keep Opera Telephone Book information up to date regarding restaurants, bars, airlines, shopping malls, and hotel facilities for guest reference.
• Address guest complaints promptly and professionally according to Jumeirah standards, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Oversee all Concierge department operations, including accurate record-keeping, duty roster preparation, and adherence to SOPs.
• Identify training needs, supervise training sessions, and maintain accurate records of colleague training to enhance skills and knowledge.
