Job summary

Quanex in Dubai seeks a Head of GCC / Country Manager to lead commercial strategy, market development, and overall business performance across the Gulf region.

The role oversees P&L, revenue growth, and channel development across UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain, building long-term relationships with stakeholders in the fenestration ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field; MBA preferred.
• Progressive experience in commercial, business development, or leadership roles within hardware/building materials/fenestration.
• Proven track record of driving GCC revenue growth, margin improvement and market expansion.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the GCC.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the GCC commercial strategy, P&L and profitable growth agenda.
• Take overall responsibility for business performance, market development, customer relationships and operational effectiveness across the GCC.
• Build strategic relationships with key aluminium system houses and influence product integration, approvals and specifications.
• Develop partnerships with fabricators and façade contractors, increasing product penetration and share of wallet.
• Manage and optimise the GCC distributor network, including performance, pricing, stock, market coverage and new partner development.
• Collaborate with global product, technical, marketing, finance and supply-chain teams to address GCC market requirements.
• Monitor market trends and identify new products, technologies and market opportunities that can accelerate growth.

Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Head of GCC / Country Manager to lead the commercial strategy, market development and overall business performance of our fenestration hardware business across the Gulf region.

This is a high-impact senior leadership position with responsibility for overall country and regional business performance, P&L, revenue growth, market share, strategic accounts, channel development, operations and regional sales leadership across Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain.

The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for executing the GCC growth strategy, strengthening the company’s premium market position and building long-term relationships across the fenestration and architectural ecosystem, including system houses, fabricators, distributors, developers, architects, façade consultants and major project stakeholders

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Proven experience of progressive experience in commercial, business development, or leadership roles within the hardware, building materials, façade or fenestration industry.
• Proven track record of driving business growth across the GCC, with demonstrable success in revenue generation, margin improvement, market expansion, and business scaling across key markets including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the GCC to manage customers, projects, partners, and market opportunities.
