Job summary

Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading UAE-based manufacturer of innovative and sustainable building materials to recruit an experienced Head of Sales. This role will lead the sales function across the UAE and wider GCC, driving project-led revenue growth and strengthening relationships with key architects, consultants, developers and contractors.

The Head of Sales will develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, lead the sales team, and focus on specification-led selling to win

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with exposure to project sales in building materials or related construction products.
• Strong experience with manufacturers of building materials and technical, specification-led selling.
• Established relationships with architects, consultants, developers, contractors in UAE construction market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to drive revenue growth, market penetration, and project sales across key markets.
• Lead, manage, and develop the sales team with clear targets, KPIs and expectations.
• Build and strengthen relationships with architects, consultants, developers, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Drive specification-led sales by positioning products at early design and project planning stages.
• Identify and secure major project opportunities, managing the full sales cycle from lead to closure.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, sales pipelines and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to drive revenue growth, market penetration, and project sales across key markets.
• Lead, manage, and develop the sales team, setting clear targets, KPIs, and performance expectations.
• Build and strengthen relationships with architects, consultants, developers, contractors, and other key project stakeholders.
• Drive specification-led sales by positioning the company's products at the early design and project planning stages.
• Identify and secure major project opportunities, managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation through to project closure.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, sales pipelines, and customer requirements to identify new growth opportunities.

Requirements-Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related field.

• 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with strong exposure to project sales within building materials or related construction products.
• Proven experience working for a manufacturer of building materials or construction products, with a strong understanding of technical and specification-led selling.
• Established relationships with architects, consultants, developers, contractors, and other key stakeholders within the UAE construction market.
• Demonstrable track record of securing and managing large-scale projects and achieving multi-million AED sales targets.
