Job summary

Five Hotels and Resorts is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead luxury culinary operations across our high-volume venues in Dubai. You will drive menu development, ensure Five-Star quality and presentation, and mentor a diverse culinary team.

The role requires a culinary degree or equivalent, 3-5 years as Head Chef in luxury hotels, and strong HACCP compliance. Pizza expertise and knowledge of American cuisine are valued assets in a dynamic, high-standard environment.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a similar role is preferred.
• 3-5 years as Head Chef in a high-volume Luxury Hotel environment delivering Five-Star service.
• Proficient in pizza preparation and techniques; prior experience as a pizzaiolo preferred.
• Knowledge of American or Pub cuisine is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day culinary operations at luxury venues to ensure Five-Star quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Lead and inspire the culinary team, and conduct trainings on kitchen equipment and standards.
• Plan and curate bespoke menus, including tasting sessions approved by senior chefs.
• Ensure HACCP, health, safety and food hygiene regulations are strictly followed.
• Monitor inventory, reduce spoilage, and manage ordering with the purchasing department.
• Conduct meetings with culinary teams to align on directives and resolve operational matters.
