Job summary

FIVE Hotels and Resorts in Dubai is seeking a Head Chef to lead culinary operations across our luxury venues. You will craft menus, train staff, and uphold FIVE’s award-winning service standards to deliver extraordinary dining experiences.

The candidate should have a culinary degree or equivalent, 3–5 years as Head Chef in a high-volume luxury hotel, strong leadership, HACCP knowledge, and excellent English. Additional languages are a plus, with focus on guest satisfaction and food quality.

Qualifications

• Culinary Degree or equivalent experience in a similar role is preferred.
• 3–5 years as Head Chef in a high-volume Luxury Hotel environment delivering Five-Star service.
• Proficient in pizza preparation and cooking techniques; prior experience as a Pizzaiolo or similar role preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of American or Pub cuisine is a plus.
• Fluency in English; additional languages such as Arabic, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Russian or Mandarin are a plus.
• Experience in Forbes or Leading Quality Assurance (LQA)-Rated properties is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef in supervising day-to-day culinary operations.
• Establish bespoke culinary standards and craft menus for tastings approved by the Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef.
• Oversee daily food preparation to maintain top-notch quality, quantities, and inventory control.
• Conduct comprehensive training on kitchen equipment, empowering staff to perform at the highest level.
• Ensure strict adherence to HACCP principles and health and safety regulations, including Dubai municipality compliance.
