Job summary

Accorhotel in Dubai seeks a Welcomer to be the frontline guest touchpoint, delivering a warm, personalized arrival and departure experience. You will guide guests, handle inquiries and promote hotel services, while maintaining a professional lobby presence.

The role requires strong English, a friendly service mindset, and the ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced, multicultural hotel environment in the United Arab Emirates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Front Office or guest-facing role in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written); additional languages are a plus.
• Warm, outgoing, and service-oriented personality.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai and its tourist attractions.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Opera or similar hotel management software is preferred.
• Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Adaptability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests with warmth, professionalism and a genuine smile.
• Provide personalized check-in and check-out experiences.
• Assist guests with inquiries, directions and hotel information.
• Offer welcome beverages or amenities upon arrival based on guest status or preferences.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge and Guest Relations to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Maintain a visible presence in the lobby and be readily available to assist or guide guests.
• Promote hotel services, facilities and ongoing promotions.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues or elevate them appropriately.
• Ensure guest preferences and special requests are recorded and communicated effectively.
• Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times in line with brand standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer relevant recommendations to enhance their stay.
