Job Description Summary

What Impact Youll Make: As part of the Gulf Commercial team the Grid Automation Sales Manager Gulf will be responsible for the GA Orders and margin within the assigned product lines and in assigned countries. Will report directly to the GA Gulf Cluster Sales Director. The role focuses primarily on Monitoring & Diagnostics (M&D) in addition to Protection & Automation sales throughout the Gulf with full GA coverage of Jordan. It is the prime GA interface for Sales and Commercial within the assigned countries for the assigned product lines. He/She will manage pipeline ensure visibility and volume of Opportunities in line with the Operating Plan and interfaces and collaborates with other Grid Automation Sales within the assigned countries.

What youll do
  • Deliver major business goals for the portfolio incl. financial metrics: orders CCM% market share objectives within the assigned countries.
  • Drive forecast risks and opportunities.
  • Develop customer connections & intimacy to ensure business growth within the assigned countries.
  • Understand customer processes touch points objective & impacts.
  • Execute and follow-up Action Plans for key accounts and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Provide Input to the Market Sizing exercise for the PL analysis of gaps coming from Regions business requests and PL NPI Plan. Participate in Priorities definition with PL Product Management and R&D
What youll bring
  • Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent.
  • Expert knowledge of sales process with min 7 years in grid automation in Gulf countries.
  • Good technical knowledge of Power System Protection and Automation systems Monitoring and Diagnostics and telecommunications Applications for Transmission Distribution and Industry segments.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions.
  • Financial acumen knowledge of pricing costing and product accounting.
  • Ability to understand and improve complex processes in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in carrying out market assessments and subsequently developing and implementing relevant commercial strategies that facilitate market penetration within the assigned countries.
  • Working knowledge in Sales Force/SPEAK environment
  • Track record of overachieving Sales targets within Gulf countries.
